We stand behind the demands of USB in Italy

The Trade Union Association of Bohemia, Moravia & Silesia (OSČMS) expresses its firm solidarity with the Italian working brothers with the USB trade union headquarters in their initiative in Rome, the protest in Milan and the preparation for the international dockers‘ strike in Genoa on 6 February 2026.

It is absolutely essential to refuse the transit of weapons and military equipment, thus dealing one of the tangible concrete blows to the war policy that is currently destroying Palestine and inciting aggression and interference throughout the world, from the Middle East to Latin America.

Strategic infrastructure must not be at the service of the war machine, while the Olympic Games will be celebrated by governments and elites responsible for war conflicts, tensions in the Holy Land, armaments. It is a paradox that the „security“ of US representatives will be supervised by American ICE units, which are involved in brutal murders, persecution of trade unionists and suppression of protests in Minnesota.
